How it works

An admin reviews your application and adds you as a collaborator on the contribution repository.

Open tasks
The signup form accepts weak passwords like "123". Add a reusable validator and show a clear error message under the password field.
Nothing stops a script from creating thousands of accounts. Limit signups per client IP.
The signup form shows errors in a browser alert(). Show each error under its field and give feedback while the request is running.
GET /api/members returns every member at once. Add page and limit query parameters so the list scales.
Sending invalid JSON to POST /api/signup crashes into a 500 Internal Server Error, and there is no limit on body size. Client mistakes should get proper 4xx answers.

Every check is read from GitHub itself: the PR author must be the GitHub account you signed in with, the PR must reference your claimed issue, be approved by a maintainer and merged. The proof is hashed and recorded.
